APPLICATION: DODGE RAM 4 X 4 2500, 3500
• Plates are waterjet cut out of 12GA cold rolled steel, the same material as axle tube.
• Tubing is 1 ½” x .120 wall DOM bent and notched for near perfect fit for quick and easy installation.
• Dimple dies for strength are standard. A drain hole relief resides in the back plate for self cleaning.
• The underside of the differential is used as a locator for proper installation by placing the truss' tubing in the gap between the diff cover and rear of differential. The tubing also ties into the lower portion of the knuckles for optimum strength. Pre-tension is also incorporated into the design.
• When welding, be sure to stich weld the plates to the axle tube and DOM to control warpage.
• There is no need to remove gears or fluid from differential when stitch welding to axle tubes, though we reccomend an axle fluid flush, and change after installation.
