Radius Arms
These are the toughest arms and rod ends for your Dodge bar-none. The Rod Ends are zinc plated and have 1.25" diameter shafts that measure 5" long, which make the upper arm assemblies almost solid. Spherical balls are captured by greased bushing and pressed into the housing, making them user friendly and easily rebuildable in the field. In fact we have a field repair kit and spare bushing readily available. Unlike rubber bushing that mimic the stock units, spherical rod ends allow for enormous amounts of flex and deflection without binding, while lasting longer than rubber bushing to boot. Greasable zerk fittings are machined into each unit. Upper and lower rod ends are Dodge specific and are a LORENZindustries exclusive, meaning these guys will easily slip into the stock locations on the frame and axel of your Dodge 4x4 while retaining the use of the stock bolts. No monkeying around with drilling the frame hole out or shimming the bracket down with washers.
The arms are 1/4" thick steel, and are powder coated black for corrosion resistance. Because of the Rod Ends' 5" long shanks, these arm assemblies can be extended much further than necessary, or they can mimic the stock arm lengths if needed. We recommend going no further than 1/2" beyond stock to clear wide tires or a not so ideal offset on after market wheels. Push them out any longer and you will create problems when the suspension cycles, REMEMBER... 1/2" over stock only, don't get any funny ideas!
